We don't teach someone else's product. We developed our own formulations because we needed inks that held up on scar tissue, stretch marks, and post-surgical skin the way we needed them to. Your training includes learning to work with — and think beyond — a single product system. You leave here independent.

Hey — we're Tricia and Chaz.
We started Olive N Sage in Reno eight years ago with one treatment room and a belief that paramedical tattooing could change lives — not just cover scars, but actually help people feel at home in their skin again.
Today we run one of the busiest paramedical studios in the country. Five surgeons send us their patients. We've developed our own ink line. And we've trained over 450 artists who are doing this work in their own cities now.
Chaz is our lead practitioner — paramedical, inkless, camouflage, magnetic removal, and piercings. I handle inkless, camouflage, tiny tattoo, and freckle work. We both teach. We both still treat clients every week.
We built the Academy because the training we wished existed when we started... didn't. So we made it.
